THE RULES!
This will be a HS and MS event. Students will compete by their division with final results being displayed by division and school. Coaches can also compete and earn points for their schools!
There will also be a Community Spotlight Challenge which will centre around performance and sharing of our various cultural identities. Submissions will be chosen for our Community Spotlight video which will be published on 12 May. The Community Spotlight Challenge will also allow you to earn points towards your school's totals.
The link to the website should be sent out by competing schools at 9am, 1 May. Submissions will be accepted between 09:00 4 May and 23:59 on 8 May.
Students and coaches will choose an event using the website, read or watch the instructions and take pictures or video to act as evidence for their submission. Coaches are welcome to take on any and all challenges from the Community Spotlight / MS / HS pages. All participants will submit using the form which can be found on the page of the event.
All participants must use their school email address. Any submission with a private email address will be disregarded.
Students and coaches will get points for each event submission with opportunities to earn bonus points for certain events if they compete in school colors, fancy dress or with other family members present. Points available will be displayed on the page of the event or challenge.
The school with the most points wins! Entries will be weighted against enrollment figures to ensure that the larger schools do not have an unfair advantage.
Honesty, integrity and community are the main core values of this competition. Scoring will be done by an automated system but judges will be carrying out spot checks throughout. Any cheating or inappropriate submissions will be removed and those people reported to their schools.
Participants are allowed to do as many events as they choose. Students and coaches that complete 6 or more different events will be honored on the Wall of Fame!
The minimum requirement for participation is to complete and submit entry for 1 event or challenge.
