1. What data is captured by ASL on behalf of the LSSA for the online Spring Festival 2020?
We are capturing name, school grade, school, event chosen, image evidence and video evidence. We are also asking for permission and parent email addresses. This will be through the use of a google form hosted by the American School in London. The hosting and storage of data will be subject to ASL's GDPR and Safeguarding guidelines and protocols.
2. What data will be published by the LSSA on the online Spring Festival 2020 website?
Festival Celebration Slideshow Video: Will feature some entries by participants cut together for a celebratory slideshow. Permission will be asked via google form before we include your images or videos.
Wall of Fame: Participants completing 6 or more events will have their name (first name only) as well as school and grade displayed on the front page of the website. Permission will be asked via google form before we include your name.
3. How long will ASL and LSSA keep my data for?
For participants featured in the Festival Celebration Slideshow and those who appear on the Wall of Fame the answer is 30 days.
For all other participants, their data will be removed upon completion of the festival. No images, videos or data will be stored beyond 16 May.
4. What happens to my data once the tournament ends?
Once the tournament ends and all functions are completed all google forms and sheets carrying participant data will be deleted. The website itself will be closed 30 days after the festival has ended.
